My interest in energy began well over 30 years ago. Under the guidance of Juan Li in France, I added qi gong and spiritual alchemy training to my daily meditation practises. I began my journey with tai chi while studying oriental health therapies in Australia and becoming a qualified integrated body massage therapist.
I have been teaching Chen Tai Chi for more than 12 years and have received instruction from a variety of Chinese Chen Tai Chi Chuan practitioners. My training with the different Chen forms - the staff (long and short), push hands and silk-reeling applications - continues to be guided by these incredibly generous tai chi teachers.
The more I learn in tai chi the more I realise the importance of participating fully in the process of the journey towards self-knowledge. The intention is to reach the destination but to be fully present to the discoveries both the outer and inner journeys offer.
I greatly enjoy sharing what I have learned by teaching tai chi and energy principles in various settings - group, corporate, aged-care and individual classes. My manner of teaching is simple, practical and straightforward mixed with enthusiasm and humour.
My gratitude is extended to all the students I have had the pleasure of teaching over the years. They have taught me to be a better teacher and allowed me to progress along the Way…
